It also has fun facts and tests etc I think this book is a must-read for all teenagers, especially the younger ones. The book itself is written for teenagers, and although I bought it originally for my almost morggan yr old, I’d probably not want him reading about things like alcohol, drugs and self-harm mmorgan yet.

I also work in a secondary school so I’m surrounded by teenagers every day. The book covers six key areas; Emotions, Sleep, Risk-taking, Gender differences, Mental health issues and Brain development in older teens. What was the outcome? Whereas at the beginning of my teenage I was very much like the teenager mentioned in this book.

She was quite happy to explain the next morning, and it had an effect on her behaviour, I thin because she recognise A very interesting and readable book that explains the changes occurring in teenage brains, and the effect on teenage behaviour.

As a teacher of 8th graders, I found this book to be very informative. While the book offers ready explanations for Master 17’s behaviour, nciola it stopped well short of the promise that the room may magically become tidier, vlame habits more organised, h An enlightening and easy read, aimed at teenagers but every bit as interesting to their harried parents.

Got it from the library braih hearing the author on the radio talking about why teenagers have untidy bedrooms. It’s addessed to teenagers, hence the lack of overly complex language.

I think this book could really help them understand what is going on in there child’s brain. I would definitely recommend this to everyone with children coming up to the teen years as I think its a great help to understand whats going on.

Mogan author does a nice job of explaining the “goings on” of the teenage brain.

It is also a great relief to me to know now that the earth was not resting its weary weight on my shoulders but there was in-fact a logical explanation for the way I was feeling.

Interesting information in very simple language. The insights into the young brain supplied by Nicola Morgan on her roller-coaster ride of the teenage mind and why they do the things they do, almost convince you that blmae was OK to pour juice over your brother because he was pressing all the wrong buttons or mkrgan write on your sisters jewellery box because you couldn’t quite understand why she annoyed you so much.
